Some highlights from these campaigns include redesigning websites, developing eCommerce stores, link building, creating a directory, optimizing sites to rank better in search engines, and creating new content. Successfully completing these tasks saw organic search traffic increase by over 200 percent, links from high-Domain Authority education (.edu) and (.gov) sites, and content ranking in the top three spots for targeted keywords in search engine results.
Roberto has worked in content and marketing strategy for the non-profit organizations Ocean Connectors and the American Diabetes Association through Ad 2 San Diego’s public service team.
Roberto worked as part of the research and social media team for Ocean Connectors. He analyzed and reported the results of a countywide survey on recreational events and researched and evaluated 50 social media influencers for Ocean Connectors to follow. He created weekly content for Ocean Connectors’ Twitter account which ranged from creating factoids to reposting curated content. Throughout the campaign, Ocean Connectors Twitter account earned over 20 thousand impressions.
Roberto graduated from San Diego State University with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, with an emphasis in Advertising, and Television, Film, and New Media, with an emphasis in Critical Studies. While at SDSU, Roberto was an active member of SDSU’s Ad Club where he served as president in his final semester.
In his free time, Roberto loves to explore. Whether it’s out-of-state or in his local neighborhood, there’s always adventure around the corner. He’s also easily seduced by whatever new food place has just opened. Maybe one day he’ll create a food blog. Either that or he’ll finally learn how to sail a boat. Not sure why it’s one or the other, but that’s how it is.
